Walking home from the bus, I heard crows scolding and spotted a suspicious black patch in the crook of a little sweetgum tree. Drawing level with it - at about my eye level - I looked into the eyes of a black squirrel. It beat a hasty retreat. I reckoned it was either that or an abandoned article of clothing.
