We walked through the park at mid-afternoon and a group of young children were engaged in loosely supervised play with pool noodles. I take this as another sign of spring creeping in. (I think they were a class from the primary school that faces the park, rather than a very early day camp, but the adults' shirts just had "STAFF" on the back.) Later I decapitated another dandelion in the front garden.
